Vauxhall Corsa-e review (2023)

In their own words

I had a Renault Zoe GT Line previously but was concerned about its NCAP rating and lack of autonomous braking.

The Corsa, I feel, is a much better car, it feels more like an ordinary petrol car but with an electric motor, the Zoe just felt awkward for me.

The things I love are, the car takes very little getting use to, as I said it's very very similar to the petrol version. The fantastic intellilux headlights, especially during the long dark winter nights. The drive is polished and refined. It's a great car for around town and on the motorway. It has lots of toys and feels safe and sure on the road. Charging is quick with the right charger. The panoramic roof lightens the cabin.

Not everything is perfect with the Corsa, range like all electric cars, is affected by the cold weather. The rear can be a bit awkward for taller people to get in and out of. Just 1 usb in this day and age is poor, especially considering it is the top of the range model. Not making full use of the 10 inch infotainment screen is frustrating. The app is probably the most unreliable one I have ever used and frustratingly spoils some of the user experience.

All in all I am very happy with the Corsa it mainly covers my needs and requirements but it will not suit everyone.
